About the Piece

In The Tiger Barrel, a draped tiger striped fashion jumpsuit lays over the cylindrical form. The layering of past fragments with the present continues in this work. The  Tiger Barrel can read like a white fence wrapped into a cylinder, a display-like form, or as an attempt to replicate the original. The jumpsuit is put on display like a new dress, but the work also has the suggestion that it has been discarded as soon as in was bought.
