About the Piece

Loft Tropical is a portrait of a loft space. The tropical theme, leaves, materials, and screens represent the features that I remember from that experience of walking in and being confronted . These portraits are based on first impressions and memory .

With this work, I continue my investigation into the shape of spaces by focusing on the features that give the site its characteristics. Both works in this series are portraits inspired by the experiences of loft living in Downtown Los Angeles.
